Editing, editing, editing

I'm feeling hugely cross eyed after spending weeks editing and typesetting. Submissions to the Hookline Novel Competition took priority, and we were able to have the manuscripts typeset and off to the printer within three days (a record). With submissions, we change nothing within the text but do sometimes change the font to one the printer will accept.
While this has been going on, we've also been working with last year's winners Rachel Crowther and Ruby Soames on editing their novels. Rachel's novel has been renamed: The Partridge and the Pelican - rolls of the tongue easier than The Baby in the Phone Box.
Rachel's novel will reach publication in April to coincide with the London Book Fair. Ruby's Seven Days to Tell You will be available in June.
In the meantime, the editing and typesetting of these works continues.
